The auction ended at the price of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,729.05), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hunt Slonem - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Picul 131, which sold at auction in October 2021 for USD 37,800.00 (€ 32,721.61).

Die Arbeit Eli's Chandelier von Hunt Slonem kam im Dezember 2018 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.729,05) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hunt Slonem mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Picul 131 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für USD 37.800,00 (€ 32.721,61) versteigert wurde.
