Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Washing Up; & Miner by Hung Jui-Ling. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,198.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hung Jui-Ling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Miners in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 1,087,500.00 (€ 89,530.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Washing Up; & Miner von Hung Jui-Ling zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.198,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hung Jui-Ling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Miners im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.087.500,00 (€ 89.530,04).
