Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Hung Jui-Ling could be acquired at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2004 for an unexpectedly low price. In the IMPORTANT 20TH CEN CHIN PAINTINGS FROM THE YAGEO FOUNDATION auction, the work Morning at the sae changed hands for HKD 95,600.00 (€ 9,630.50) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 120,000.00 – 240,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hung Jui-Ling have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Miners in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 1,087,500.00 (€ 89,530.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hung Jui-Ling konnte im Oktober 2004 bei Christies in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion IMPORTANT 20TH CEN CHIN PAINTINGS FROM THE YAGEO FOUNDATION wechselte die Arbeit Morning at the sae für HKD 95.600,00 (€ 9.630,50) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 240.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hung Jui-Ling auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Miners im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.087.500,00 (€ 89.530,04).
