A top price for Hung Jui-Ling

This artwork by Hung Jui-Ling achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2008. In the Chinese 20th Century Art (Evening Sale) auction, the work Miners sold for HKD 1,087,500.00 (€ 89,530.04) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 600,000.00. This high result makes Miners the most expensive artwork by Hung Jui-Ling that we have observed at auctions so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Hung Jui-Ling erzielte im Mai 2008 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese 20th Century Art (Evening Sale) wurde die Arbeit Miners für HKD 1.087.500,00 (€ 89.530,04) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 600.000,00.
