Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Hung Hoi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in September last year. The price achieved of HKD 25,200.00 (€ 3,279.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hung Hoi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ancient Temple in the Mountains in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 28,546.64).
