Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Hung Hoi was sold in the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,828.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hung Hoi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ancient Temple in the Mountains in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 28,546.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Hung Hoi wurde im Mai 2018 in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.828,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hung Hoi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ancient Temple in the Mountains im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 28.546,64).
