Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Hung Hoi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2018. The price achieved of HKD 18,750.00 (€ 2,116.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hung Hoi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ancient Temple in the Mountains in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 28,546.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Hung Hoi kam im November 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 18.750,00 (€ 2.116,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hung Hoi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ancient Temple in the Mountains im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 28.546,64).
