Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Reclining Nude by Humphrey Jennings was sold in the 20th Century British Art including The Studio of Humphrey Jennings auction at Christies in London in July 2006. The price achieved of GBP 240.00 (€ 351.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Humphrey Jennings achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tableau Parisien in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,128.15).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 240,00 (€ 351,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Humphrey Jennings erzielen.
