Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Plough And Team by Humphrey Jennings was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2006. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,140.00 (€ 1,668.83) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Humphrey Jennings have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tableau Parisien in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,128.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Plough And Team von Humphrey Jennings kam im Juli 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.140,00 (€ 1.668,83) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Humphrey Jennings auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tableau Parisien im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.800,00 (€ 7.128,15).
