Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 840.00 (€ 1,229.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 900.00. Admittedly, works by Humphrey Jennings have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tableau Parisien in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,128.15).
