Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2006 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art including The Studio of Humphrey Jennings, which included the work Mixed Flowers by Humphrey Jennings. The price achieved of GBP 240.00 (€ 351.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Humphrey Jennings achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tableau Parisien in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,128.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art including The Studio of Humphrey Jennings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mixed Flowers von Humphrey Jennings zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 240,00 (€ 351,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Humphrey Jennings erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tableau Parisien im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.800,00 (€ 7.128,15).
