Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Mother And Child by Hugo Robus for USD 250.00 (€ 171.20). This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hugo Robus achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Paean' in December 2010 with an auction result of USD 68,500.00 (€ 51,624.09).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Mother And Child von Hugo Robus für USD 250,00 (€ 171,20) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hugo Robus erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Paean' im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.500,00 (€ 51.624,09).
