Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Man With A Bandaged Head by Hughie O'Donoghue was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2018. The price achieved of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 19,654.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hughie O'Donoghue have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Owl Run in November 2019 with an auction result of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 110,085.42).
