A top price for Hughie O'Donoghue
When the work The Owl Run by Hughie O'Donoghue was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2019, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - GBP 25,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than three times as high at GBP 93,750.00 (€ 110,085.42). This high result makes The Owl Run the most expensive artwork by Hughie O'Donoghue that we have observed at auctions so far.
