This artwork by Hubert Dalwood achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in September 2002. In the Twentieth Century British Art auction, the work Abstract Panels sold for GBP 2,232.50 (€ 3,547.96) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hubert Dalwood - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tree, which sold at auction in May 2012 for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,680.84).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Hubert Dalwood erzielte im September 2002 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Twentieth Century British Art wurde die Arbeit Abstract Panels für GBP 2.232,50 (€ 3.547,96) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hubert Dalwood mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tree beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.680,84) versteigert wurde.
