Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cat And Moth Orchid by Huang Yi was sold in the Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors auction at POLY in November last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 12,000.00 (€ 1,489.10) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Yi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Heading North by Boat in Spring in April last year with an auction result of HKD 756,000.00 (€ 91,405.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cat And Moth Orchid von Huang Yi wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors bei POLY versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 12.000,00 (€ 1.489,10) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Yi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Heading North by Boat in Spring im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 756.000,00 (€ 91.405,90).
