This artwork by Huang Yi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction, the work Autumn Landscape After Fang Congyi sold for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 47,071.70) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Huang Yi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Heading North by Boat in Spring sold at auction in April last year with the realized price of HKD 756,000.00 (€ 91,405.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Huang Yi erzielte im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Autumn Landscape After Fang Congyi für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 47.071,70) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Huang Yi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Heading North by Boat in Spring im April letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 756.000,00 (€ 91.405,90).
