In March 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy, which included the work Calligraphy In Clerical Script by Huang Yi. The »bidding war« ended at USD 65,000.00 (€ 52,759.74), 44% above the upper estimate. Other works by Huang Yi have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 756,000.00 (€ 91,405.90) in April last year for the work Heading North by Boat in Spring.

Im März 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy In Clerical Script von Huang Yi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 65.000,00 (€ 52.759,74) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Huang Yi haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 756.000,00 (€ 91.405,90) im April letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Heading North by Boat in Spring beobachtet.
