Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Appreciating Clouds by the Greek by Huang Yi was sold in the The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in November 2020. The price achieved of HKD 102,000.00 (€ 11,012.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Huang Yi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Heading North by Boat in Spring in April last year with an auction result of HKD 756,000.00 (€ 91,405.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Appreciating Clouds by the Greek von Huang Yi wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 102.000,00 (€ 11.012,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Huang Yi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Heading North by Boat in Spring im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 756.000,00 (€ 91.405,90).
