The work Calligraphy Couplet In Lishu by Huang Yi was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. It achieved a price of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 17,438.72), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. Admittedly, works by Huang Yi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Heading North by Boat in Spring in April last year with an auction result of HKD 756,000.00 (€ 91,405.90).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Lishu von Huang Yi kam im April 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 17.438,72) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Huang Yi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Heading North by Boat in Spring im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 756.000,00 (€ 91.405,90).
