Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2014 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Girl Of Stars by Huang Rui. It changed hands for a price of HKD 141,600.00 (€ 14,578.13) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Huang Rui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work New Woman in May 2011 with an auction result of HKD 1,340,000.00 (€ 119,869.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2014 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Girl Of Stars von Huang Rui zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 141.600,00 (€ 14.578,13) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Huang Rui auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit New Woman im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.340.000,00 (€ 119.869,23).
