Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Huang Rui was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. The price achieved of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 38,245.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 260,000.00 – 360,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Huang Rui - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work New Woman, which sold at auction in May 2011 for HKD 1,340,000.00 (€ 119,869.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Huang Rui kam im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 38.245,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 260.000,00 – 360.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Huang Rui mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit New Woman beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für HKD 1.340.000,00 (€ 119.869,23) versteigert wurde.
