Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Huang Rui could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Asian Art auction, the work Language Colour Series (Set Of Eight) changed hands for HKD 60,000.00 (€ 7,060.76) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Rui achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work New Woman in May 2011 with an auction result of HKD 1,340,000.00 (€ 119,869.23).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Huang Rui konnte im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art wechselte die Arbeit Language Colour Series (Set Of Eight) für HKD 60.000,00 (€ 7.060,76) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Rui erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit New Woman im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.340.000,00 (€ 119.869,23).
