Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Waterfall Inside the Mountain by Huang Qiuyuan was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I auction at POLY in October 2019. The price achieved of HKD 236,000.00 (€ 26,974.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Huang Qiuyuan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,888,000.00 (€ 207,796.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Waterfall Inside the Mountain von Huang Qiuyuan wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I bei POLY versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 236.000,00 (€ 26.974,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Huang Qiuyuan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.888.000,00 (€ 207.796,70).
