The work Autumn Landscape by Huang Qiuyuan was sold in the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2020. The auction ended at the price of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,398.39), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Qiuyuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,888,000.00 (€ 207,796.70).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Autumn Landscape von Huang Qiuyuan wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.398,39) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Qiuyuan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.888.000,00 (€ 207.796,70).
