Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 POLY held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I, which included the work Landscape by Huang Qiuyuan. The price achieved of HKD 236,000.00 (€ 26,974.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Huang Qiuyuan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,888,000.00 (€ 207,796.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2019 führte POLY die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Huang Qiuyuan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 236.000,00 (€ 26.974,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Huang Qiuyuan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.888.000,00 (€ 207.796,70).
