Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Drawing Lessong 101- This Part Is Too Dark, Or, It'S Just A White Bunny With A Black Butt by Benrei Huang was sold in the Celebrating the year of the rabbit auction at POLY in February this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 12,000.00 (€ 1,441.99) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Benrei Huang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Theory of Leisure: Social Distancing Edition in April this year with an auction result of HKD 264,000.00 (€ 269,595.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Drawing Lessong 101- This Part Is Too Dark, Or, It'S Just A White Bunny With A Black Butt von Benrei Huang wurde im Februar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Celebrating the year of the rabbit bei POLY versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 12.000,00 (€ 1.441,99) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Benrei Huang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Theory of Leisure: Social Distancing Edition im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 264.000,00 (€ 269.595,65).
