Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Season Too Late - 2 by Benrei Huang was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. The price achieved of HKD 102,000.00 (€ 12,727.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Benrei Huang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Theory of Leisure: Social Distancing Edition in April this year with an auction result of HKD 264,000.00 (€ 269,595.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Season Too Late - 2 von Benrei Huang wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 102.000,00 (€ 12.727,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Benrei Huang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Theory of Leisure: Social Distancing Edition im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 264.000,00 (€ 269.595,65).
