Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Pines In The Ravine by Hu Peiheng was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,078.01). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hu Peiheng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hermit Dwelling In The Mountain, which sold at auction in October 2012 for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 18,666.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pines In The Ravine von Hu Peiheng wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.078,01) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Hu Peiheng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hermit Dwelling In The Mountain beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 18.666,08) versteigert wurde.
