Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Pine Trees By The Shore; Calligraphy by Hu Peiheng for HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,815.04). This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 26,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Hu Peiheng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hermit Dwelling In The Mountain in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 18,666.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Pine Trees By The Shore; Calligraphy von Hu Peiheng für HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.815,04) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 26.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hu Peiheng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hermit Dwelling In The Mountain im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 18.666,08).
