Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Hu Peiheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Lush Mountains In Clouds sold for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 17,792.78) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hu Peiheng; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Hermit Dwelling In The Mountain sold at auction in October 2012 with the realized price of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 18,666.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hu Peiheng erzielte im Oktober 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Lush Mountains In Clouds für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 17.792,78) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Hu Peiheng; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Hermit Dwelling In The Mountain im Oktober 2012 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 18.666,08).
