Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2018 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Lions With Swords （Set Of Four Pieces）(Painted In 1992) by Hsia Yan. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 80,240.00 (€ 9,035.14). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hsia Yan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pedestrian At Soho No.5 in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 850,000.00 (€ 100,330.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2018 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lions With Swords （Set Of Four Pieces）(Painted In 1992) von Hsia Yan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 80.240,00 (€ 9.035,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hsia Yan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pedestrian At Soho No.5 im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 850.000,00 (€ 100.330,43).
