A top price for Hsia Yan
This artwork by Hsia Yan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. In the Modern Asian Art auction, the work Pedestrian At Soho No.5 sold for HKD 850,000.00 (€ 100,330.43) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 450,000.00. This high result makes Pedestrian At Soho No.5 the most expensive artwork by Hsia Yan that we have observed at auctions so far.
