A top price for Howard Coster - as previously expected
The work Gluck, Ca.1932 by Howard Coster was sold in the The Fine Art Society: 142 Years on New Bond Street auction at Sothebys in London in February 2019. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,832.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Gluck, Ca.1932 is the most expensive artwork by Howard Coster that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Gluck, Ca.1932 von Howard Coster wurde im Februar 2019 in der Auktion The Fine Art Society: 142 Years on New Bond Street bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.832,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden.
