The work T.E. Lawrence by Howard Coster was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2006. It achieved a price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,425.63), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Howard Coster; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Gluck, Ca.1932 sold at auction in February 2019 with the realized price of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,832.67).

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Howard Coster; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Gluck, Ca.1932 im Februar 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.832,67).
