This work without title by Hossein Khosrojerdi was sold in the International Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in February 2007. The auction ended at the price of USD 12,000.00 (€ 9,070.29), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hossein Khosrojerdi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gaze, which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 55,000.00 (€ 35,328.88).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Hossein Khosrojerdi wurde im Februar 2007 in der Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 12.000,00 (€ 9.070,29) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hossein Khosrojerdi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Gaze beobachtet, die im April 2008 für USD 55.000,00 (€ 35.328,88) versteigert wurde.
