Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Hossein Khosrojerdi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in October 2017. In the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction, the work Iranian untitled sold for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,654.40) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hossein Khosrojerdi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Gaze sold at auction in April 2008 with the realized price of USD 55,000.00 (€ 35,328.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hossein Khosrojerdi erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East wurde die Arbeit Iranian untitled für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.654,40) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Hossein Khosrojerdi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Gaze im April 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 55.000,00 (€ 35.328,88).
