This artwork by Hossein Khosrojerdi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in October 2016. In the 20th Century Art/ Middle East auction, the work Iranianconflict And Balance sold for GBP 13,125.00 (€ 14,621.65) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hossein Khosrojerdi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gaze, which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 55,000.00 (€ 35,328.88).
