Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2014 Christies in Dubai held the auction Modern & Contemporary Arab, Iranian & Turkish Art, which included the work Untitled (Mystic Fervour) by Hossein Kazemi. Here, the upper estimate of USD 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 43,750.00 (€ 34,916.20). Admittedly, works by Hossein Kazemi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 313,000.00 (€ 201,053.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Arab, Iranian & Turkish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Mystic Fervour) von Hossein Kazemi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 43.750,00 (€ 34.916,20) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hossein Kazemi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 313.000,00 (€ 201.053,44).
