Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East, which included the work Iranian untitled by Hossein Kazemi. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,551.47) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hossein Kazemi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 313,000.00 (€ 201,053.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Iranian untitled von Hossein Kazemi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.551,47) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hossein Kazemi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 313.000,00 (€ 201.053,44).
