Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Hossein Kazemi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in November 2020. In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction, the work The Setar Player sold for GBP 6,120.00 (€ 6,831.99) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hossein Kazemi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 313,000.00 (€ 201,053.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hossein Kazemi erzielte im November 2020 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art wurde die Arbeit The Setar Player für GBP 6.120,00 (€ 6.831,99) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hossein Kazemi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 313.000,00 (€ 201.053,44).
