It achieved a price of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 27,850.76), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. Admittedly, works by Hossein Kazemi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 313,000.00 (€ 201,053.44).

Die Arbeit Iranianuntitled von Hossein Kazemi wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion 20th Century Art/ Middle East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 27.850,76) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hossein Kazemi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 313.000,00 (€ 201.053,44).
