This artwork by Hossein Kashian achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Dubai in October 2007. In the International Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Angels sold for USD 22,500.00 (€ 15,551.56) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hossein Kashian; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot L'interrogation de l'amour sold at auction in June 2008 with the realized price of EUR 26,900.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Hossein Kashian erzielte im Oktober 2007 bei Christies in Dubai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Angels für USD 22.500,00 (€ 15.551,56) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Hossein Kashian; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit L'interrogation de l'amour im Juni 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 26.900,00.
