Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2021 Christies in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Asia, which included this untitled work by Hong Zhu'An. The price achieved of USD 1,625.00 (€ 1,383.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hong Zhu'An achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Profound in November 2018 with an auction result of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,340.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Asia durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Hong Zhu'An zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.625,00 (€ 1.383,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hong Zhu'An erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Profound im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.340,99).
