Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Five Fish by Hong Zhu'An was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2003. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 45,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 47,800.00 (€ 4,978.03). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hong Zhu'An - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Profound, which sold at auction in November 2018 for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,340.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Five Fish von Hong Zhu'An kam im Juli 2003 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 45.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 47.800,00 (€ 4.978,03) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Hong Zhu'An mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Profound beobachtet, die im November 2018 für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.340,99) versteigert wurde.
