Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Qiondo Fucheng River, Tonglu Zhejiang Province; & Qiondo Lake, Chunan Zhejiang Province by Hong Lei was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2011. The price achieved of HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,236.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hong Lei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Speak, Memory in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 18,500.00 (€ 23,532.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Qiondo Fucheng River, Tonglu Zhejiang Province; & Qiondo Lake, Chunan Zhejiang Province von Hong Lei kam im Mai 2011 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.236,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hong Lei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Speak, Memory im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.500,00 (€ 23.532,81).
