The work After The Song Painting Series by Hong Lei was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. The result of HKD 10,000.00 (€ 1,155.71) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hong Lei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Speak, Memory in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 18,500.00 (€ 23,532.81).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit After The Song Painting Series von Hong Lei kam im April 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 10.000,00 (€ 1.155,71) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hong Lei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Speak, Memory im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.500,00 (€ 23.532,81).
