The work After The Song Painting "Lotus Coming Out Of Water" by Hong Lei was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2012. The auction ended at the price of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 3,897.50), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 35,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hong Lei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Speak, Memory in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 18,500.00 (€ 23,532.81).

Die Arbeit After The Song Painting "Lotus Coming Out Of Water" von Hong Lei kam im April 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 3.897,50) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 35.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hong Lei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Speak, Memory im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.500,00 (€ 23.532,81).
