Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work After The Song Painting By Li Anzhong "Painting Of Autumn Chrysanthemums And Quails" by Hong Lei was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 30,000.00 (€ 2,770.49), 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Hong Lei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Speak, Memory in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 18,500.00 (€ 23,532.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit After The Song Painting By Li Anzhong "Painting Of Autumn Chrysanthemums And Quails" von Hong Lei wurde im Oktober 2011 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 2.770,49) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hong Lei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Speak, Memory im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.500,00 (€ 23.532,81).
