Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work 't Model: nude by Hobbe Smith was sold in the Pictures Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2007. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,625.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hobbe Smith achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work De Magere Brug over de Amstel in October 2003 with an auction result of EUR 23,900.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit 't Model: nude von Hobbe Smith wurde im September 2007 in der Auktion Pictures Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.625,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hobbe Smith erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit De Magere Brug over de Amstel im Oktober 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 23.900,00.
